The Premier League has been blessed with so many great goals over the years. Wayne Rooney is a Premier League legend, he has many goals that could be on this list. However, even the man himself has admitted this was the best goal he has ever scored. Nani dinks the ball into the box for the Englishman to bicycle kick the ball into the top corner against not only their rivals but title challengers to win the game. This is still and will always be one of the best goals ever scored in the Premier League.
4. Shearer vs Aston Villa
In a match where Aston Villa sat top of the table many believed that Newcastle would struggle to get a result. Alan Shearer is the greatest Premier League goal scorer of all time and was known for his natural goal scoring ability. His goal against Aston Villa wasn’t a goal he was usually known for scoring and it is a goal many believe was his best. The ball was lobbed over the defenders for Shearer to hit first time on the volley and it flew into the top corner. Newcastle went on to win the game 3-0 and knock Villa of the top of the table.
3. Emre Can vs Watford
This is a forgotten goal in the Premier League however, we will not forgot as it was one of the greatest goals scored by the German. This was not a big occasion, hence why it may be forgotten but the actual goal was incredible. The two former Liverpool midfielders linking up, Lucas lofted the ball over to Can who attempts an outrageous bicycle kick which loops over the Watford goalkeeper. The skill and audacity to even attempt this goal was incredible, never mind actually pull it off!
2. Yeboah vs Wimbledon
Former Leeds United player Yeboah scored an absolute screamer against Wimbledon. He takes the ball down on his chest, dummies two defenders by faking to shoot then when he gets a better angle he rifles it into the top corner. This was incredible dribbling and skill to even present himself with the opportunity then to finish it like that… wow.
1. Giroud vs Crystal Palace
The top spot goes to Oliver Giroud, the Frenchman just oozes class and some of the goals he has scored have been nothing short of extraordinary. Playing for Arsenal he may of been one of the most underrated strikers the Premier League has ever seen. The Frenchman may of scored a lot of brilliant goals but nothing will beat the 2017 Puskas award winner that he scored against Crystal Palace. The ball was crossed in by Alexis Sanchez which was a little behind him, however, quick thinking by Olivier Giroud and he proceeds to scorpion kick the ball into the top corner.
